Hiring a mobile bartender is more than booking someone to pour drinks. It’s investing in an experience for your guests. Here’s a walk-through of what working with Suspended Spirits looks like, from first inquiry to last call.
Inquiry and Quote
After you submit our booking form, we typically respond within 24 hours with a tailored quote based on your event size, location, and chosen package. We’ll ask a few clarifying questions: guest count, event type, venue, and any drink preferences or restrictions.
Consultation and Planning
Once you’re ready to move forward, we schedule a brief consultation to walk through the details. This is when we recommend a specific package, build a shopping list for the alcohol you’ll provide, and confirm any custom cocktails you’d like featured. For Spirits Unbound clients, we also design a fully bespoke drink menu around your event theme.
The Day Of
We arrive 45 to 60 minutes before your event start time to set up the bar, ice down the glassware, organize mixers and garnishes, and run through any last-minute adjustments. Our bar setup is intentional and clean. It should look like part of your event design, not a service station tucked in the corner.
Service
Throughout the event, our bartenders work the bar with attention and presence. We pace drinks responsibly, watch for guests who need water, and keep the line moving. We’re not just pouring. We’re reading the room and adjusting service to the energy of the evening.
Breakdown
After last call (typically 15 to 30 minutes before your event end time), we clean down the bar, restock anything you’d like to keep, and pack out. The space we used is left as clean as we found it.
What’s Included
Every package includes a licensed and insured bartender, full bar setup and breakdown, basic equipment (shakers, jiggers, strainers, ice bucket, pour spouts), mixers, ice, garnishes on Spirits Entwined and above, and disposable or rented glassware as needed.
What You Provide
You purchase the alcohol. We provide a tailored shopping list after booking, which keeps your costs transparent and lets you choose exactly the spirits, beer, and wine you want for your event.
Booking Window
We recommend booking 3 to 4 weeks out for weekday events and 4 to 6 weeks for Saturdays or holiday weekends. Last-minute bookings (under 2 weeks) are sometimes possible but availability isn’t guaranteed during peak season.
